Description of Classes Available at the Center
for Spiritual Living

Basics of Science of Mind

A one-day workshop designed to acquaint you with the core principles of the Science of Mind.

Foundations Class
The Foundations Class is the entry-level class in the study of the Science of Mind. The course is designed to be a personal exploration of the core concepts of the Science of Mind and their application to the daily process of living. Each student will have the opportunity to explore in their own life the universal principles which govern our experiences as well as their relationship to the creative power and presence inherent in all life. Meditation is taught as a daily practice, as is Spiritual Mind Treatment. The class is experiential, with many guided meditations and exercises assisting students in embracing and incorporating the principles. This class is the prerequisite class for the following certificated classes.

Treatment and Meditation: Spiritual Practices for Daily Living
This class focuses on the student creating lifetime habits of meditation and Spiritual Mind Treatment. During this class Spiritual Mind Treatment for others is taught as well as reviewing and strengthening the student's knowledge of treating for him/herself.

Self Mastery: The Emergence of the True Self
The Self- Mastery class focuses on healing the perceived separation between personality and Spirit. Through an active exploration of the creative nature of thoughts and feelings, beliefs and emotions, the students have the opportunity to gain mastery in the art of living as a conscious, intentional being.

Exploring Roots 2000
This class provides the student with background and the historical roots of Ernest Holmes' philosophy
in America. Specific emphasis will be given to the works of Thomas Troward, Emma Curtis Hopkins and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Practitioner I and II
Those who have completed Foundational, Treatment and Meditation, Self-Mastery and Roots classes are eligible to advance to the Practitioner level classes. These classes build on the spiritual foundation of Science of Mind with an in-depth curriculum that prepares the student to become a licensed Practitioner. On successful completion of all classwork, the student is then eligible to take the final written and oral examinations required before becoming a Licensed Practitioner.

Life Enrichment Classes and Workshops
A variety of classes and workshops are offered which focus on individual life issues, such as Relationships, Health and Prosperity. These classes have no prerequisites and are open to all interested in personal enrichment. All classes create the opportunity for continued growth, being with like-minded people and support for staying centered in oneness with all Life. Many students enjoy repeating classes for ongoing spiritual enrichment.
